GRM Remains Active with Resolved Complaints

Since July 2023, the RESDP has operated a GRM. The RESDP’s GRM is designed with the objectives of providing a process for identifying and solving complaints and addressing concerns fairly, efficiently, and effectively. It also minimizes adverse project related impacts on people, community and the environment to build and maintain trust with RESDP’s stakeholders. It is expected that all project related grievances will be resolved through the GRM.

The GRM has continued to operate effectively, addressing concerns from the public during the recent reporting period. One complaint and one inquiry were received and successfully resolved and addressed, respectively, demonstrating the project’s commitment to addressing community concerns in a timely manner.

The public is encouraged to continue utilizing theGRM for any concerns or complaints, ensuringthat all voices are heard and addressed. The RESDP’s GRM consists of multiple uptake channels by which a grievance can be submitted (see below), a publicly advertised grievance process and procedures and an appeals process for complainants who are dissatisfied with the PIU’s proposed resolution and wish to escalate their complaint to a higher level.
